Happy Camper

Packed and ready to go!

Rusty loves to ride in the car and is so excited about a vacation!

Walks with Molly!

Sleep on a bed (with people even!)

Special treats.

Getting re-acquainted with Buttercup.

The smell of campfires, other doggies, and BACON!

Two very good puppies at Hickory Hill.

Rusty loves to go with us camping!  He is such a good dog and would be happy to just hang out by the porch all day.  However, this year the kids took him for walks many times a day!  He loves to visit with all the people and other dogs at the campground.  He gets to sleep on a bed if he wants and of course ride in a car.  For Rusty, Labor Day weekend is basically Christmas!

PRETTY GIRL, PRETTY FLOWERS

STONY BROOK STATE PARK

A warm, summer day at Stony Brook State Park.
Add an awesome group of kids who love to play.
Throw in some yummy picnic food,
and friends to hang out with.
Who could ask for anything more?

HOMEARAMA

We went to Homearama recently to tour five beautiful homes.

The rooms were gorgous.

We happen to have a terrific mudroom similar to this one but with four kids it does not look like this anymore.

I could live in this walk in closet!

Or this one.

The kids enjoyed all the bathrooms.
This shower was especially inviting!

SUMMER DRAMA

Be our guest, be our guest, our command is your request!

This summer Molly, along with her friends; Emily, Jack, Madison and Sarah, all attended the local Summer Drama camp. For five weeks the kids practiced for this year's production of "Beauty and the Beast". Molly was cast as the narrator as well as a soloist. Madison was a soloist, Jack was Chip, Emily and Sarah were villagers. The show was awesome and the kids all had an absolute blast. They all want to do it again next year!

GENESEE COUNTRY MUSEUM

This summer we went on a visit to the Genesee Country Museum in Mumford, New York. On this particular day they were having Civil War Reenactments. We visited all the houses and looked in all the camps hoping to find our family members who were participants! Finally we found cousin Emily (in the blue dress) and she gave us a tour of her tent. Uncle Rick (with the cannon) was very busy with his Unit, Artillery Reynolds Battery L. We really enjoyed our visit.
