Everybody break it down....(chop your feet!)

FISHING

Daddy took the boys fishing one day this summer on the Erie Canal.  It was a beautiful day and the boys had a blast.  These pictures were too precious not to share.  I loved to fish as a kid on the St. Lawrence River.  I'm glad that my children share this interest and love of the sport.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

A beautiful day to start a new school year.

Rob more then ready for his Senior year.

No Mom, you cannot follow Robbie into school for one more kiss!

Molly looks fabulous for the start of 7th grade.

Gotta touch up the nail polish!

New sneakers for the start of school.

Tim looks great in purple.

Jack's hair is perfect!

The twins are ready for 4th grade.

Waiting for the bus.

THIS is CAMPING!

Camping is hanging out with really great friends.

Eating terrific food cooked by the "men folk".

  Drinking out of coffee pots.

Reading, reading, and more reading.

Playing games, even ridiculously long ones (OMG).

Campfires with gigantic marshmallows.

Intense Kan Jam tournaments.

Kisses and hugs.

Summer homework crunch time.

Bacon, bacon, and more bacon.

Pajamas all day and muddy feet.

Hair cuts and swimming and walks and naps and just relaxing!

Happy Camper

Packed and ready to go!

Rusty loves to ride in the car and is so excited about a vacation!

Walks with Molly!

Sleep on a bed (with people even!)

Special treats.

Getting re-acquainted with Buttercup.

The smell of campfires, other doggies, and BACON!

Two very good puppies at Hickory Hill.

Rusty loves to go with us camping!  He is such a good dog and would be happy to just hang out by the porch all day.  However, this year the kids took him for walks many times a day!  He loves to visit with all the people and other dogs at the campground.  He gets to sleep on a bed if he wants and of course ride in a car.  For Rusty, Labor Day weekend is basically Christmas!
