Here Jack is so excited to be holding his new Eagles Jersey. As I stood in the Victor Goodwill texting Robbie to see if #81 Owens is even still a player, I decided that spending a whopping $5.99 on a jersey that looks brand new would be worth it even if he he wasn't a player anymore.
Timothy really wanted this DSi kit. It was available only online, which I didn't realize until the weekend before the birthday celebration. It finally came at 4:30 pm on the afternoon we were scheduled to do cake and presents. The wrapping paper was on this gift for all of about 15 minutes!
I'm not exactly sure why a 10 year old boy would want a medicine ball. But he did! And I guess they all use it when playing basketball to build strength...or something. As an ex-basketball star, Daddy was all over this one!
Timothy learned how to ride a two wheeler when he was barely three years old. We decided it was high time he learned how to ride a unicycle. Hey, Uncle John could! Craigslist was the source for this nifty and hard to find item. Robbie's friends had more fun trying it out over the weekend. Sean ended up to be the best circus act.
But the best gift by far was this waffle iron that Jack asked for! He really, really wanted one! Ever since Christmas when Aunt Katie made waffles here for breakfast, he has been asking for one. What a thrill to open this for his birthday and of course that night he made bunches of them for snack for everyone. We even found a "Rob safe" waffle mix and waffles are made now for meals and snacks a few times a week.
Nifty presents!!!!
